Guinness-1<br>FRU FPR Card ASM - REMARKETED
Remarketed Remarketed: new or used, guaranteed to work as a new part would, and covered, like every part we sell, by SPL’s own one-year warranty.
Remarketed often gets you the part sooner. We source it through our network of distributors and resellers, not necessarily directly from the manufacturer or with its approval, so it is often in stock when the manufacturer’s own part is not. SPL warrants it itself for a full year, as it does every part it sells, powered by Care4IT, and if anything goes wrong you deal with us, not the manufacturer. What our conditions mean

About this fingerprint reader
A fingerprint reader is a biometric sensor that signs a person into a computer by scanning a finger, removing the need to type a password. In laptops it is a small module, often combined with the power button or set into the palm rest and linked by a short cable, while standalone readers connect through a USB port. Faults show as the system no longer detecting the reader, enrolment that will not complete, fingers going unrecognised even after cleaning, or a cracked sensor surface.
Is this the right part?
You will find the part number on the module itself or on its cable. Match your machine's exact model, and check whether the reader is built into the power button or a separate unit. Enrol your fingers again after fitting.
Not sure? Send us the number from the label, or your machine's serial number, and we will confirm the match before you order.
