Founded on 1 August 1989 by Stephen Cox, SPL is a family-owned and operated business now employing nearly 100 staff, with offices across South Africa and outposts and stocking locations across sub-Saharan Africa, and with bespoke world-leading warranty management and parts profiling software, SPL is a leader in the IT parts and service industry.
SPL is the authorised channel for parts and upgrades for tier-1 global IT brands, including: HP, HPE, Lenovo, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Acer, Lexmark, Kyocera. SPL also distributes large volumes of special imports of Dell, Cisco, Juniper and other parts and hardware.
We manufacture our own brand of compatible parts, from laptop adaptors, and batteries, to memory, SSDs and transceivers using globally leading brands' components (like Samsung and Intel), and bundling these with our warranties (Limited lifetime warranty on ServiceLife memory, SSDs and transceivers).

This service is available across Africa & the Middle East, and we have run the warranties and contract stock for Apple, Fujitsu, HP, and Toshiba.
- For Systems Integrators and Hardware Distributors: bundle a Care4IT warranty extension on any new or used equipment in the field with a contracted service level. With nearly 200 000 units under active support today through tier-1 hardware distributors, household names of retailers, and major service providers, this is a proven solution!
