About this toner cartridge
A toner cartridge stores the fine powder that a laser printer lays on paper to form text and images. On many printers it also houses components that wear quickly, so fitting a replacement refreshes those parts too. Cartridges are made for specific printer families, and colour machines need the correct colour. A low or failing cartridge gives faint or streaked pages, patchy blank areas, or a warning on the printer display. Many carry a chip reporting the remaining level, and the printer may refuse a cartridge it does not recognise.
Is this the right part?
You will find the part number on the cartridge label and on its box. Before fitting, compare that number with your printer's model number, and on a colour machine check the cartridge colour matches the empty slot. The manufacturer's part number for this listing is 75P6877.
Not sure? Send us the number from the label, or your machine's serial number, and we will confirm the match before you order.
