About this printer drive assembly
A printer drive assembly is the motor and gear mechanism that rotates the drum, fuser, rollers and other moving components inside a printer. In many machines one main drive powers several of these through gears and clutches, while others are turned by their own separate motors. When a drive wears out or fails, you may hear grinding, clicking or squealing sounds, see a motor error message on the control panel, notice banding that repeats at regular intervals across the page, or find that some components stop turning although the rest of the machine keeps running.
Is this the right part?
Find the part number on the label fixed to the assembly or its motor. Check it against your printer model and, where the machine has more than one drive, confirm the position, since the main, fuser and feed drives are different parts. The manufacturer's part number for this listing is 939-0015.
Not sure? Send us the number from the label, or your machine's serial number, and we will confirm the match before you order.
