About this camera module
A camera module is a small circuit board carrying the lens and image sensor. In laptops it is usually mounted in the display bezel above the screen, sometimes beside an infrared camera for face sign-in, and it connects to the system board through a cable that runs through the hinge. Signs of failure are a camera the system no longer detects, a black or frozen image, or a picture that flickers or drops out when the lid moves, which often points to the cable rather than the module.
Is this the right part?
The part number is usually on a label on the module or on its cable. Match the machine's exact model, and whether it has an infrared camera, since the two versions are different parts. The manufacturer's part number for this listing is 20002403.
Not sure? Send us the number from the label, or your machine's serial number, and we will confirm the match before you order.
