About this PoE injector
A PoE injector feeds electrical power into a network cable so that equipment such as an access point, camera or phone can operate without its own power supply, useful where the switch provides no power. It sits between the switch and the powered device, taking data in and sending data plus power out. The power standard, output level and network speed must suit the connected device. Fault signs include a device that stays off despite a sound cable, a dark power indicator, or a device that restarts when under load.
