How do I match a replacement motherboard to my machine?

Match the part number on the board's label, not only the model name. One model is often built with several boards that differ by processor, graphics or memory, and only the board made for your variant fits and runs. Send us the machine's model and serial number and we will confirm the match before you order.

Can I fit a faster processor on my motherboard?

Only if the board's socket and chipset support it. In most laptops the processor is soldered to the board, so it comes with the board. In a desktop or a server, check the board maker's list of supported processors before you order.

What warranty does SPL give on this part?

How do I return a part that is faulty or not what I ordered?

Where do you deliver from, and how long does delivery take?

We ship from our Johannesburg and Cape Town branches to addresses across South Africa. Once you order, My account shows an estimated dispatch date for it, and courier delivery usually follows within one to two business days of dispatch.
