Questions buyers ask about casing parts

Does a display back cover come with the bezel and hinges?

Usually not: the back cover, the bezel and the hinges are separate parts with their own part numbers. The product name says what is included, and if it does not, ask us before you order.

How do I match a casing part to my laptop?

Casing parts change with the model's variant, colour and features such as a touch screen, a fingerprint reader or a backlit keyboard. Match the part number on the old part, usually moulded or printed on its inside, or send us the laptop's model and serial number to confirm.

What warranty does SPL give on this part?

Every part SPL sells carries a one-year SPL warranty from the invoice date, unless the product page or your quote says otherwise. The full wording is clause 17 of our Terms and Conditions. Warranty terms

How do I return a part that is faulty or not what I ordered?

Where do you deliver from, and how long does delivery take?

We ship from our Johannesburg and Cape Town branches to addresses across South Africa. Once you order, My account shows an estimated dispatch date for it, and courier delivery usually follows within one to two business days of dispatch.
